Plutus is a portfolio management platform that connects individual investors with model portfolios and baskets created by independent research firms. Investors can browse strategies, subscribe to those that align with their goals, link their own brokerage account, and have trades executed automatically when the underlying model is updated by its publisher (an independent research provider or, in some cases, Namsoft Advisors). Note: In addition to third-party research, the Namsoft Advisors team may publish its own model portfolios or baskets intended to benefit customers. Any such strategies are subject to the same marketplace and execution mechanics described on this page. Plutus is designed so that investor assets remain in the investor's own brokerage account at all times. Plutus operates under limited trading authority granted through a formal brokerage appointment process; it does not hold, custody, or transfer client funds. ## How Plutus Works 1. Browse Portfolios -- Investors explore model portfolios and baskets on the Plutus marketplace, including those from independent research firms and, in some cases, models published by Namsoft Advisors. Each strategy displays its current model holdings and historical model performance. As of April 2026, the marketplace features 90+ model portfolios and baskets from 10+ research firms. 2. Connect a Brokerage Account -- Investors link their existing brokerage account through a secure advisor appointment process. Plutus does not ask for or store brokerage passwords. The investor's money remains in their brokerage account under their name and control. 3. Automated Execution -- When the strategy publisher updates a model portfolio, Plutus executes the corresponding trades in the investor's linked brokerage account. Investors can adjust allocations or pause execution at any time. ## Model Portfolios and Baskets A model portfolio is a set of securities and target allocations maintained by a research provider or, in some cases, Namsoft Advisors. When the publisher updates the model (adds, removes, or reweights holdings), Plutus can execute corresponding trades in subscriber accounts. A basket is a curated group of securities that may represent a theme, sector, or strategy. Baskets may be rebalanced periodically or at the publisher's discretion. Most strategies are published by independent research providers who perform the research and strategy design. Namsoft Advisors may also publish models. Plutus handles execution and the investor-facing platform. ## Rebalances and Execution When the strategy publisher posts an update to a model portfolio, Plutus calculates the necessary trades for each subscribed account and executes them through the investor's linked brokerage. Execution timing depends on market hours and brokerage processing. Investors can pause or cancel participation in any strategy at any time. Plutus processes related rebalancing on about an hourly cadence so updates reach accounts promptly. In some cases, provider-specific or market-specific factors may affect timing. ## Help Center The public help center at https://help.runplutus.com provides detailed articles on: - Rebalances and Execution: https://help.runplutus.com/en/collections/19131731-rebalances-and-execution - Model Portfolios and Providers - Account Setup - Costs and Fees - Security and Compliance - Deposits and Withdrawals - Navigating Plutus - About Plutus - FAQs ## Pricing - Advisory fee (annual rate, paid monthly): 1% per year of assets under management that Plutus advises on. Charged approximately 0.083% of the applicable assets per month. Pay as you go; no binding prepayment of a full year in bulk. - No account minimums. - No separate trade commissions charged by Plutus. - No performance fees. - All strategies in the marketplace are included in the single advisory fee. - No long-term commitments; investors may cancel advisory services at any time. Brokerage fees, regulatory charges, and costs imposed by the investor's broker are separate from Plutus's advisory fee; investors should consult their brokerage's fee schedule. ## Security and Custody - Investor assets remain in the investor's own brokerage account at all times. - Plutus operates under limited trading authority via a formal advisor appointment process -- not through password sharing. - Plutus does not hold, custody, or have the ability to withdraw client funds. - Investors may revoke Plutus's trading authority at any time through their brokerage. ## Getting Started 1. Create a Plutus account. 2. Complete the onboarding questionnaire. 3. Link a brokerage account via the advisor appointment flow. 4. Browse the marketplace and subscribe to strategies. 5. Plutus executes trades automatically when models are updated. ## Tax Considerations Plutus does not provide tax advice. Because assets reside in the investor's own brokerage account, all tax reporting is handled by the investor's broker. ## For Research Providers For questions about publishing strategies on Plutus, email james@runplutus.com. ## Contact - Website: https://www.runplutus.com - Email: hello@runplutus.com - Research providers: james@runplutus.com - X (Twitter): https://x.com/RunPlutus - Help Center: https://help.runplutus.com ## Key Links - Homepage: https://www.runplutus.com - Privacy Policy: https://www.runplutus.com/privacy - Terms of Service: https://www.runplutus.com/terms - Form ADV: https://reports.adviserinfo.sec.gov/reports/ADV/338837/PDF/338837.pdf - Disclosure brochure: https://files.adviserinfo.sec.gov/IAPD/Content/Common/crd_iapd_Brochure.aspx?BRCHR_VRSN_ID=1016641 - Client Relationship Summary (Form CRS): https://reports.adviserinfo.sec.gov/crs/crs_338837.pdf - Log in: https://www.runplutus.com/login ## Disclaimers Past performance is not indicative of future results.
